Well starting on Monday 25th September on BBC 1 is a series called S Club 7 Go Wild. It is a seven part series and each week you will be able to follow one member on the search on there endangered animal. The first week you will be able to catch Rach on the trail of the Siberian Tiger. I will post up info on the show each week and let you know who is on next week. But to start you off here is a guide to what's in store!!
Jon, Jo and Tina in the Jungle!!
Jon is on the trail of the Orang Utan and he can't wait to meet one face-to-face! "I love these animals, says Jon,"but I can't believe that in ten years' time there may none left alive". On his search Jon treks though the Malaysian jungle, bedding down in a little hut over night.
Jo is in trail for the Asian Elephants ans she thinks they are amazing! "The Assin Elephants are under threat because a lot of their natural habitat is being destroyed" says Jo," But did you know the elephant is the 10th most intelligent mammal on earth? These creatures are so amazing!" On her search Jo finds herself looking right down a rather LARGE trunk!
Tina is on the trail of the Giant Panda's and is looking forward to track down one of the 1000 left in the world! "I've always thought panda's were really special," says Tina," It's incredible that I'm hopeful to met one close up!". On her search they find a karaoke bar, but can the 3 7's sing in Chinese?
Bradley and Hannah In The Heat!!
Bradley is on the trail of the Hyacinth Macaw and he can't wait to find out more about them! "These birds are amazing," says Bradley," But a lot of them are caught and sold as pets and there are now only 3000 left in Brazil." On his search Bradley finds out that the Hyacinth Macaw is very active on moonlit evenings. Remind you of any of the 7's?!
Hannah is on the trail of the Monk Seal and on her search she hoping to catch sight of one! "The Monk Seal is Europe's rarest mammal, and there are only about 500 of them left," says Hannah ," So it will be amazing to catch sight of one when I'm out swimming!" On her search does she get close to one?
Paul and Rachel Go To The Extremes!!
Paul is on the trail off the Black Rhino and he is hoping to catch sight of one. "In the past 25 years, 95% of the Black Rhino population in Africa has been wiped
out," says Paul ,"There are now just 2000 left, so it will be amazing to see some in the wild!". On his search he shouldn't get too close if he see's one cos they can run at about 30mph- faster than he can sprint!
Rachel is on the trail of the Siberian Tiger and she is hoping to spot one by hitching a lift thought the Far East Of Russia. "Three species of tigers have already become extinct in the past 100 years," says Rachel ,"And the Siberian Tiger could be the next, so we need to do something". On her search does she meet one on her ride?
