After a trip to Miami
and LA a draughty old Warehouse in London is he last place you'd
expect to find S Club 7. But that's were we are and as we walked
through the dorrs we're transported into a snowy winter wonderland.
Every where we look there are icecles, frosted balls, twinkling
lights- oh, and the odd pop star!
The first people we
see are the boys. ogged up in polo-neck swetwes and furry anoraks,
they're swaying around on a pristine white set. The girls are huddled
round a TV laughing at the 'serious' singing faces the boys are
putting on. The girls wouldn't look out of place in the snowdrifts of
Iceland. So what's going on?
The S Clb are filming
the vid for the Christmas single, Never Had A Dream Come True. The
hanky-soaking ballad may sound familiar- it was the theme to the S
Club 7 Go Wild series on BBC1.
"It looks really
boring," explans Bradley, "but we where the white wall is, we're
going to put in clips of animals and stuff."
"It's really
Christmasy," adds Hannah, fiddling with her new hairdo. "We've got
laods a cool decorations and we're all huddled in our winter
clothes."
Knee-high furry boots
adorn four pairs of legs and fur-trimed coats are swished around as
the girls get their make-up done. They look like four v.pretty
Eskimos.
"We've been up since
5am," yawns JOn as the boys dash off for a cuppa between
takes.
"I dunno 'bout you
lot but I'm on the PlayStation," calls Bradley thundering up the
stairs.
The girls start
singing and two giant fans start up and the roon is suddenly full of
'snow'. They gasp and start singing and dancing in time to the music.
We could almost be looking at a scene in a snow shaker. Christmas is
definatly on it's way.
